The next update is getting closer.
It's been too long since we've had screenshots on here. We need some more.
Once the compass starts updating then there is also a bearing that shows in the bottom left corner similar to the accuracy.
Special thanks to victor for two excellent new target screen faces that can be used with this upcoming version.
Thanks everyone for your feedback. Keep it coming!

Hi,
I did my first cache find the other day in down town Sydney. It was kinda neat using an iphone and geopher lite to do this. Not getting as many stares as we use to when using a gpsr and all the paper notes etc etc.
Keep up the good work. Love your work. I noticed in your screenshots that your state measurements in American. Do you think this should be in feet and meters? Just a thought.
Thanks again,
Jack (Sydney Australia)
THAT IS AWESOME!!
Any ETA on the next release? I'm guessing next week, once it gets posted by Apple?
Looking good. Can't wait!
2 suggestions on improving functionality:
1. The map feature should go directly to the coordinates rather than driving directions. Right now it is not very useable since it takes you to the nearest road but not to the actual coordinates.
2. Having a 'filter finds' setting would be nice. I'd like to be able to see the caches around me 'which I haven't found".
I appreciate your efforts. The app gets more useful with every update.
Hi, I'm currently beta testing the next release and can confirm, as said before that the map now drops the pin on the actual cache. The part filled co-ordinates is also great.
Hopefully the way the compass and target arrows move in the beta at the moment are also really useful and will hopefully make the next release.
All smallish things but all to the overall usability of an already useful app.
By the way, I just realized that this skin looks a lot like another recently announced geocahing app skin. That's not intentional, see these comments for more on why this is happening. I'll discuss more on "skinning" later as well.
anonymous, "american" represents feet and miles, where "metric" (the other option that you can't see) uses meters and kilometers.
The ability to filter finds and use the back button while using the geocaching.com website would be great. Thanks for all of your hard work.
It's looking solid. I can't wait for the next update.
Awesome. By the way a few friends and I will be geocaching tomorrow with your app so maybe I'll report any more comments I have, though I think I've covered most of my concerns already.
I'm looking forward to the next release and being able to use your app again tomorrow out in the wild (this will be my 4th attempt to find a cache.. the previous 3 were all failures :( )
